Justin Jacobs Obituary

Justin was the latter. Born on September 22, 1989, Justin carried a rare and unmistakable energy from the very beginning. Bold in spirit and adventurous by nature, he possessed a natural charisma that drew people in and left lasting impressions. His laughter was loud, his ideas were constant, and his presence had the power to transform ordinary moments into unforgettable memories. He did not believe in standing still. He believed in momentum.

Justin served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, where his courage and discipline earned him recognition as a Rifle Expert, along with the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and a Certificate of Appreciation. His military service strengthened the resilience and determination that would define the rest of his life.

As a business owner and CEO of Major Details and Semi Wash Club, Justin pursued success with relentless drive and fearless vision. He approached entrepreneurship the same way he approached live, fully committed and unapologetically ambitious. Whether working construction/remodeling projects, training in martial arts, cooking, traveling, or riding motorcycles, Justin lived intensely and authentically.

He valued loyalty, brotherhood, and family above all. His humor disarmed tension, his intelligence elevated conversations, and his loving heart created bonds that will never be broken. He inspired others to think bigger, live freer, and face life with courage.

Justin passed away on February 21, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona.

He is survived by his parents, Randy and Erma Jacobs, and his siblings, Jason Jackson, Donte Magee, Maunya Jacobs, Arthur Jacobs, Corey Jacobs, Pamela Carter, Kiva Edwards, Miya Edwards, Artavia Franklin, Randy Jacobs, Terrell Jacobs, Ashlie Jacobs, Stephen Jacobs, and Kendra McCurdy, along with many extended family members, brothers of the road (Wheels of Soul M.C.), and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Lee Edwards, his mother Melvina Magee, his grandmother Ceola Edwards, his grandfather Clarence Rucker Edwards, his grandmother Hattie Lee Magee, his grandfather James Walker, his grandmother Margaret Walker, his grandmother Bertha Jacobs, his grandfather Roosevelt Jacobs, and his beloved dog Layla.

Some lives are measured in years. Others are measured in impact.

As written in sacred wisdom, "The righteous, though they die early, will be at rest... for understanding is gray hair, and a blameless life is ripe old age." -Solomon 4:7

Time may have taken him from our sight, but it could never diminish the force of who he was.

And he will never be forgotten.
