King Delvon Davidson was the beloved 13-year-old son of LaShaunda Davidson. King was a high-spirited young man, creative, adventurous and pleasant. He loved football, swimming and one of the best skaters around. He loved his dogs, Nova and Domino.; his love of animals came from his great grandfather, Raymond Davidson. Another love he held dear was riding bikes with his friends. He was also great at gaming with his cousins. He loved being around family and friends. He held a special concern for his great grandmother, known as, Mamma Geraldine.
King completed 7th grade at Navarre Middle School. He and his mother shared a love for food, watching movies, joking and playing around and spending tons of quality time together. You would always see them in pictures showing their beautiful smiles.
Those left to cherish his memory are, his loving mother, LaShaunda Davidson; father, Terrel (Umika) Franklin, Sr.; his siblings, Jeermal, Xavier, Terrel, Tierra, Markeis, Dejuan, Jackson, Parker, Nila, Lorena, Britnay, Shaniqua, Bri'an, Jaion and Justice; his maternal grandmother, Pat Miller; great-grandmother, Geraldine Hastings; aunts, Syreeta Hyde-Pinkney, Yolanda Davidson, Yvonda Davidson, and Kanysha Harden; uncles, DeShawn Davidson, Sr. and Keith Ivory, Jr.; three special uncles, Clifford, Kumar and Omar; King's special cousin, Kylin Miller; three special sisters, Kamryn, Alexis and Destiny Smith; his very close cousins Za'yon, Juju, and Jerry; special friends, Gabe, Kingston, Kumari, Demetrius, Ryan, Isaiah, Alfonso, Alaya and Alarria, along with a host of other aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends. Preceded in death are his uncles, Delvon and Derek Davidson; aunts Kenya Ellis and Kaylynn Davidson; special cousin, Kyler Jackson; grandparents, Raymond (Ann) Davidson; great grandparents, Willie Hastings, Norman (Doris) Brazier; great aunts, Debra Miller and Darlene Sims; great uncles, Anthony Baker Elmore Baker and Gene Floyd; and maternal great-great grandparents Willie and Inobia Baker.
