Klister Patton

Klister L. Patton, 93, of Parisian Drive, South Bend, IN., deeprted this life on Monday, January 22, 2018. She was the second oldest of five children born to the late Mr. & Mrs. Lathan Wilkins, Sr.
  
  Klister was united in holy matrimony to William A. Patton on July 24, 1959. She attended medical school in Chicago where she received her LPN degree. For many years she was a member of Our Day Together Club here in South Bend. She became a member of Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Bernard White. She retired from St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
  
  Klister leaves to cherish her memories, daughter/niece, Kendra Reid, son//nephew, Michael Miller, two sisters, Celia Johnson and Dorothy Richardson, one brother, Nathan Wilkins, Jr., grandchildren, Taraious (Stacey) Ford, Latisa (Corey) McKinney, Tracey Miller, Darrell Burgess and Jane Fleming along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
  
  Klister was preceded in death by a son, Larry Patton, her parents, Lathan & Mamie Wilkins, a sister, Irene Hawkins and a son in law, Erskine Reis, Sr.
  
  Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church with viewing occurring from 11:00 a.m., to noon.
