Lashawn L. Bullocks, 45, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on July 19, 2026. Born on June 11, 1981, in South Bend, Indiana, Lashawn was born to the union of Jacqueline Dotson and Terry Malone. He was lovingly raised by Herbert Dotson, whom he knew as his father. Lashawn graduated from Lasalle High School and was known for his warm heart, infectious laughter, and unforgettable personality. 
Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Lashawn knew they were always in for a good laugh. His quick wit, humorous spirit, and genuine kindness brought joy to everyone around him. He had a heart of gold and deeply cared for those he loved. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Lashawn leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved children, Tre'shawn Bullocks and Delilah Wheat; his parents, Jacqueline Dotson and Herbert Dotson; his sisters, Nicki Dotson and Brandy Malone; his brothers, Herbert Dotson Jr., Ryan Dotson, and Terry Malone Jr.; his nieces, Tasharra Dotson, Anyiya King, and Mellani Dotson; and his nephew Demauri Dotson.
He is also lovingly remembered by his special cousins, Sonya Anderson and Teresa Malone, and his special Aunt, Johnanna Bullocks.
Lashawn also leaves to cherish his memory his aunts, Norma Blackmon, Linda Dockery, Jennifer Smith, Christine (Will) Dotson, Rita Dotson, Lola Mae Adams, Ellis Malone, and Anita Malone; his uncles, LaVan (Rhonda) Rogers, Barren Bullocks, Winterll Bullocks, Raymond (Mary) Dotson, and Dewange Dotson; along with a host of other loving cousins, relatives, and dear friends.
Lashawn was preceded in death by his biological father, Terry Malone; his grandparents, Willie Mae Bullocks, Charles Bullocks, Gladys Dotson, Tommie Dotson, Catherine Malone, and J.C. Malone; and his uncles, Tommie Dotson, Johnny Malone, Elvis Malone, Michael Malone and Fred Malone and a host of other family members.
Though he is no longer with us in person, Lashawn's love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace, reunited with those who have gone before him.
