Lari Glenn Obituary

Lari Glenn, lovingly known as "Chocolate," was a radiant beacon of love and laughter, whose life was a testament to the power of resilience, kindness, and zest for life. Born on April 15th, 1961, in Nile’s Michigan, Lari was a woman of great intelligence and talent. Her sharp wit, infectious humor, and luminous spirit brought joy and warmth to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Lari was a woman of many passions, but none were more important to her than the time she spent with her beloved family, particularly her cherished grandchildren.

Lari was a remarkable woman who retired from Lippert Goshen after years of dedicated service. There, she left an indelible mark with her exemplary work ethic and dedication. Outside of work, Lari had an artistic flair, which she expressed beautifully through her love for decorating. This talent was not just a hobby, but a passion that she shared generously, turning houses into warm and inviting homes. Lari also volunteered at Life Changers, where she utilized her unique combination of humor, intelligence, and kindness to make a significant impact on many lives. These accomplishments reflected her generous spirit, her unwavering optimism, and her ability to see beauty in everything around her.

Lari is survived by her loving family, including her children Yalonda Murphy and Larry Provell Glenn III; her sisters Pamela (Roger) Smedley, JoAnn (Raphael) Samara, and Nanette Austin; and her brothers Billy Jr. and Simeon Fox. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren, Dontaiza Grose, Cyntrelle Poindexter, Kevin Reed, Jessenia Tirado, Larry Glenn VI, Ya'Majesty, Ya'Highness, Te'Darius, Champayne and Paige; great-grandchildren, Emmanuel Reed, Royalty Pinkerton, Cyn'cere Amourr Rodger, Jada Sheppard, Jadyn Tirado, Ray'Shawn Pittman, Raquon Bostic, Ahnestie and Janelle.
