Larry Scott Sr.

Larry Scott Sr. was born November 26, 1954, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Wesley and Lavada Thompson.

The family moved to Gary, Indiana where he attended Gary schools. Larry was employed with Gary Works, U.S.S. Steel, and U.S. Lead of East Chicago.

In 1973-1974 Larry had two children: Faye and Larry Scott Jr. with mother Faye Gates of Gary. He moved to South Bend, Indiana in 2002 and married Pearl Herring on November 18, 2006.

Larry was preceded in death by grandparents, father, brother, one aunt, and five uncles.

Larry Scott Sr. leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Pearl Scott; one son, Larry Scott Jr.; two daughters: Faye Scott and Runnee Forrest; his mother, Lavada Thompson; six grandchildren: G.A., Ashley, Larry III, Jody, Essence, and D.J.; 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Kenneth Ray, Eli 'Buck'  and Ronnie; one sister-in-law, Nicole Forrest; one brother-in-law, Herman (Bertha) Herring; and mother-in-law, Sandra Herring; two aunts: Irene Nash and Christine (Elmer) Neah; along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
