Letha Mae Perkins

Letha Mae Perkins 74, yrs old transitioned on February 3, 2025, at her home in Mishawaka, Indiana. Letha was born on May 12, 1950, in Widener, Arkansas. She is the beloved daughter of the late Ruthie Mae Davis Alsanders and Ozzie Perkins and bonus daughter of the late Mr. Willie James Alsanders, Sr.

Letha Mae attended Harrison Elementary School and Central High School in South Bend, Indiana. Her profession as a caretaker was dear to her heart as she felt that was her mission in life. Leatha Mae also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at cookouts and other activities.

Letha is survived by her brothers Willie James (Samelia) Alsanders Jr., Alvin LaShawn Alsanders., of South Bend, Indiana and Parnell Wilson of Vallejo, California. Her sisters Lavern Jones of Madison, Arkansas, Charlene Raines, Freedonia Johnson, and Em ma Dora of Vallejo California. A host of Nieces and Nephews who loved her dearly and will truly miss her as well as her family and friends will miss her also.

Letha Mae was preceded in death by her Mother Ruthie Mae Davis Alsanders, her Father Ozzie Perkins, (bonus father) Willie James Alsanders, Sr.
