Margaret Pfeifer-Jackson, born on February 14, 1937, was a woman of extraordinary character who lived an extraordinary life. Her infectious spirit and zest for life left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
Margaret was a reservoir of wit, lighting up any room with her funny and generous nature. Known for her humility and ever-ready smile, she had a unique way of making everyone feel comfortable and appreciated, even in her presence for the first time. In South Bend, Indiana, where she resided, Margaret was the embodiment of community spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand. Her deep love and concern for her family's safety and well-being were evident in her actions and words. Margaret's generosity extended to her love of snacks, an endearing trait that added to her charm.
Margaret's life was a testament to the verse in the Bible, Proverbs 31:25. "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." Her love and warmth have left a lasting legacy, and she will forever be remembered fondly by her surviving family members: son Bruce Pfeifer, granddaughters Benita Pfeifer, Kashawna Walker, Nakia Jenkins, and Shae Culp; sons Tico Jackson; grandsons Bruce Jr, Mario Pfeifer, and Robert Culp; great-grandchildren Demarion Thomas, Precious Pfeifer, and DomMarie Childress; daughter Felicia Span; brother Richard(Kingfish)Pfeifer; friend Pat Dean; daughter Janice Wright. Margaret was preceded in death by her father Charles ll, mother Lena Pfeifer, sister Equilla Wardlow, and son Calvin Douglas.
