Maria De La Luz Granado 71 years old from South Bend, Indiana, was born to Francisco Granado and Gregoria Morales on 5/25/51. She went to be with the lord on 1/14/23. She is survived by her 5 daughters and one son. Consuelo Mojica, Yolanda Rodriguez, Beatriz Hernandez, Esmeralda Gonzales, Anna Martinez and Jose Hector Garcia Jr 37 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Racheal Garcia, Flora Aleman proceeded in death by 6 sisters and 5 brothers one grandson Alejandro Olivares and one great-grandson Nathan R Mojica. She was born in a small town of Rule, Texas she practically was raised in Homestead, Florida where she raised her family. She was always a great provider loved her grandchildren which were her pride and joy. She was a Godly woman with her bible verses she was sure to keep you at ease and all of us at peace She always prayed for her family and always read Gods word and encouraged all her grandkids to fear God. She loved to travel and loved to cook and dance. Family was everything to her. She was more than happy to be the rock that held our family together. Anyone that knew us knew that she was a star in our eyes and that's all that ever mattered to us. Viewing services will be held Friday 1/20/23 from 4-7 pm at Alfords Mortuary 1222 Napier St in South Bend Indiana on Saturday 1/21/23 we will be meeting up for a short service at Alfords Mortuary from 9-11 am following to St Joseph cemetery 24980 In-2 South Bend Indiana 46619 where she will be reunited with her siblings. Arrangements have been entrusted with Alford's Mortuary Inc.
