Mary Lee Tell

Mary L. Tell (85 yrs.) of South Bend, IN passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Memorial Hospital surrounded by her sons.
  The Geneva, Alabama native was the daughter of the late Eli and Ruby Sconier. She had a 28-year career as a nursing assistant at St. Joseph Hospital. She was also a member of Saint Memorial Church of God in Christ in South Bend, IN where she also served on the usher board.
  She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Tell Sr., two sons Willie Silas Jr., Robert E. Tell, one daughter Millie Silas-Robinson, and one grand-daughter Laura Ann Robinson. She is survived by three sons Melvin L. Silas (Derise) of Grand Prairie, TX; Howard Tell Jr., of South Bend, IN and William T. Tell (Lisa) of Arlington, TX; seven grand-children and hosts of great-grandchildren family and friends. Mary enjoyed going to church, word puzzles, bowling, going out to eat and spending time with family.
  Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Saints Memorial COGIC with viewing held at the church from 10:00 a.m., to 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at Alford's Mortuary on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 5:00 p.m., to 7:00 p.m.
