Mr. Melvin Williams, 82 beloved father, brother and uncle, who resided at Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation, passed away Saturday September 2, 2023.

Melvin Williams, the son to the late Joe Willie and Mary Dee Williams was born in South Bend, Indiana on November 29, 1941. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp for 4yrs. He was a salesman who sold hair care products and jewelry. He managed stores like Rite Aid, Home Depot, K'Marts and later retired.

Loving family members who survive include Melvin Williams Jr of Japan, Richard Williams and Darryl Williams both of Seattle, Washington. Three brothers, Jerome Williams of South Bend, Indiana, Emerson Williams of Mishawaka, Indiana and Byron Williams of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Five sisters, Marvella Williams of Lansing, Illinois, Arnetta Brock of Jacksonville, Florida, Sharon Herron, Carolyn Williams and Lisa Williams all of South Bend, Indiana. Stepsisters and brothers, The Patterson's.

Preceding him in death are both parents Joe and Mary Williams, one grandson Anthony Jermaine Williams. Four brothers, Michael Williams, Joseph Williams, Albert Williams and Mose Williams. Two sisters, Lavern Williams and Cassandra Williams. He leaves behind a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews also uncle, aunt and a host of cousins. Melvin will be forever remembered by his family and friends.
