Missionary Gracie Bradley Obituary

Gracie Mae Bradley was born to the late Willie Lee Ward and Idene Ward on October 5, 1950, in Blytheville, Arkansas. She served as a Missionary and was a member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.

As a young girl, her family relocated to Elkhart, Indiana, where she graduated from Elkhart Central High School and then went on to study business administration at Davenport College. Missionary Gracie was the widow of the late Johnny Bradley of Elkhart, Indiana.  She lived here in South Bend, Indiana most of her adult life. She recently resided at Golden Years Homestead of Fort Wayne, Indiana where she passed away on October 16, 2021.

Gracie Bradley loved her family and she was loved by everyone who knew her. She was always lending a helping hand to anyone in need and did so with a smile.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Johnathan Bradley and  Angela (Lenneth) Lipsey; her six grandchildren: Salasia Lipsey, Mikyra Johnson, Taliyah Lipsey, Lenneth Lipsey Jr., Waukesha Murry, and Promis Bradley.

She also leaves behind her siblings: Willa (Larry) Bell of  Syracuse, New York, Ernestine (Jerry) Watson of Elkhart, Indiana, Margatine (DeCarlos) Thortin of Haywood, California, Ethal (Robert) Garret, of Hornlake, Mississippi,  Wanda Ward, of Illinois, Marie (Michael) Meadows, Georgise Woodward, Carolyn Ward, Sarah Ward, Ella Mayes, Harvey Ward, Andre Ward, and Donald Ward, all of South Bend, Indiana; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends to cherish her memory.

She meets at the Gates of Heaven her son, Billy Darrell Paxton; her Mother and father Idene and Willie Ward; her brothers: Joseph and Rosco Ward.
