Missionary Laura L. Jackson

Missionary Laura Jackson, 91, of South Bend, IN went home to be with the Lord October 5, 2021.

Laura was born to Robert Wright Gregory and Eliza Rachel McClendon Gregory on November 17, 1929 who both preceded her in death. She married Allen Cecil Jackson Sr in 1946 who preceded her in death in 1985. She also was preceded by two sons Allen Cecil Jackson Jr and Michael E. Jackson.

Laura was a self employed licensed cosmetologist for many years. Her hobbies were gardening and going to church.

Survivors left to cherish her memory include two daughters Carolyn Williams of Osceola, IN and Beverly Jackson of St. Paul, MN., two sons Larry Darnel Jackson of Memphis, TN and Markus (Dawn) Jackson of Bristol. IN., 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren along with a host of great-great grandchildren, three sisters Earlene (Robert) Hunt of Elkhart, IN., Mary (Trellis) Porter of Mishawaka, IN., and Terry L. Gregory of St. Paul, MN, two brothers Deotis Gregory and Leroy Gregory both of Elkhart, IN along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
