Paul E. Turner

Mr. Paul Ellis Turner, 79, of South Olive Street South Bend IN passed away Sunday November 6, 2022 at Memorial Hospital South Bend IN. 

Paul was born to Robert E. & Geneva (Roberts) Turner on February 23, 1943 in Sunflower MS.

Paul worked over 40 years for The City of South Bend Waste Management retiring in 2014.

Paul was the Dean of The IDMR Bible Class. His passions were traveling, spending time with family and watching westerns.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Geneva Turner, one daughter Demetria Turner, eight sisters Dorothy Turner, Lela Mae Turner, Minnie Ester Touisant, Geneva Turner, Marian Perry, Louise Turner, Jennie V Turner and JereleneGreer, four brothers Johnnie Henry Turner,  Robert Turner, Joseph Turner and William Turner. 

Paul leaves to cherish his memory one daughter Cassandra (Robert) Wallace of Muskegon MI, three grandchildren Demitri Wallace,  Keidric Wallace and Ramiere Brown, three sisters Veray Morrow,  Lillian Leigh and Evelyn Turner all of Detroit MI, one brother Marshall Turner of Coldwater MS along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Saturday November 12, 2022 at Alfords Mortuary, 1222 Napier Street, South Bend, IN 46601 with viewing held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Local arrangements have been entrusted with Alford’s Mortuary.
