Our mother has been called home to be with her mother, Julia M. Jones; her daughter, Katrinka R. Jones; her sister, Bobbi Jones; and an aunt, Emma all of whom proceeded her in death.
She has two surviving sons: Curtis E. Mahone Jr. and Shannon L. Jones; and her sister, Shirley Ann Jones. Also, an extended family: daughter-in-law, Nikki Jones; and sister-in-law, Jackie T.; and granddaughter, Chari T.; along with a host of aunts and cousins: Lonnie Jones, Roosevelt Jones, Billy Ray Jones, Yumekia Jones, Frank, Hahn, Eddie Lee, Lamar, Tomeace Lee, Markus Russell, Reginald Myrick, Gabrielle Wilson, Bridgette Freeman, Ashley Griffith, Billy Jones Jr., and Brittney Jones.
A lot of people know her for being the woman with a beautiful smile and laugh that makes people do the same. She had a caring heart that would help you in any way she could. She used to feed the children in the neighborhood and would have Bible studies in her home with the children too. A loving person is in God’s hands now and forever in our hearts until we meet again.
