Petrina Pratcher

Petrina Faith Pratcher, loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin completed her earthly assignment on Saturday, August 21, 2021.

Petrina was born March 13, 1973, to her parents Joesph and Martha Pratcher. Her beloved mother preceded her in death. Petrina gave her life to Christ at an early age at the Greater Wayside Church of God in Ghrist.

Petrina leaves to cherish her memory her father, Joe (Cathy) Pratcher of Elkhart, Indiana; one son, Debryce Pratcher of Los Angeles California; two daughters: Sydeia White and Asia Ward of Indianapolis, Indiana; two grandchildren: Gabrielle Pratcher of Las Vegas, Nevada and Ne’Vaeh Finley of Indianapolis, Indiana; and a grandson on the way, Dant’e Branson Jr.

She also leaves to cherish, seven sisters: Antonia Holmes, Mary Lifter, and Sharon (Henry) James, all of Elkhart Indiana, Latasia Culbreath of Nashville, Tennessee, Andra Pratcher of Houston, Texas and her twin sister, Betina Pratcher of Indianapolis, Indiana, Londa Watson of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two brothers: Joseph (Crystal) Pratcher of Matana, Arizona and Derrick Pratcher of Elkhart, Indiana.

Petrina had two lifelong friends: Shaelvonne Whitener and Yameka Fields-Caston; also two friends that were like brothers to her: Steve and Melvin Culbreath; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Petrina was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Howard and Mammie Jeffries Jr.; paternal grandparents Alex and Hattie Pratcher; and one son, Howard Pratcher. 

Petrina had a strong faith in God. She was the best Auntie. Her nieces and nephews adored her. She absolutely loved her children and grandchildren. The bond she and her twin sister had can never be broken. Petrina was the rock to her family. Petrina loved to cook and travel. Music was her forte’. Petrina had the most giving spirit just by walking into a room.
