Richard Meadows

Mr. Richard Meadows was born in Detroit Michigan to Mr. & Mrs. Charles Sr. and Lillian Meadows, Richard had a sister and many brothers on whom the sunset on far too soon, he proceeded the youngest brother and sister in his homegoing.

Richard had two children: the eldest Mrs. Sophia Taylor (54) of Indiana and her brother Byron Meadows (51) of Indiana. Richard’s son-in-law (Dion Taylor) was more like a son to him, and on many occasions, he would affectionally state that. Richard also had 6 grand-children (Blake, Mrs. MarisaNieves, and Trisha Taylor, Moses Cisneros, Jovay Cisneros Meadows and Autumn Sophia Meadows) and his daughter-in-law to be (Yasmine Farooq) and his grandson-in-law José Nieves, Richard also had one great-grand daughter (Vanessa Sophia Nieves).  Richard’s ex-wife Gwendolyn Meadows of Indiana was one of his best friends, as was his baby brother David Meadows, whom he called his brother and his friend.

Richard leaves behind a host of other family members, friends, and church members who loved him more than words could express! Richard gave his life to the Lord over 18 years ago, My Dad lead a rocky life until he found Christ! He loved listening to J. Vernon McGee early in the morning and Dr. Tony Evans late at night. Richard served diligently in the Armed forces, receiving an honorable discharge and afterwards signing up for the Army Reserves. Richard was a great reader and he loved old westerns!
