Our Beloved Robert Earl Morrison, entered into eternal rest on August 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Center for Hospice.
Robert was born on September 29, 1942 in Belzoni Mississippi to Annie Earl Murray and Bonnie Morrison.
In the early 1940"s the family moved to South Bend IN. Robert attended South Bend School Corporation System.
Robert was a quiet man, but if there was something he wanted to say he knew how to get his point across.
Robert liked to wear hats indoors and out. He like to dress neat shirt tuck in belt on. One of his favorite things to do is watch old westerns like Gun Smoke, Rawhide. He also loved spending time with his brother George and family he would come over for cookout and most Holiday.
Robert spent most of his adult life at Logan Center he lived in a group home he and other men there got along well. Robert also worked at the Logan workshop and would sometimes ride with staff when they delivered food to the elderly.
Robert never married and has no children.
Robert leaves to cherish her memory one brother George (Kathy) Jackson, three cousins Vera Humphrey, Vanessa Humphrey and Tiffany Humphrey all of South Bend IN, seven nieces Stephanie Jackson and Jasmine Jackson both of Indianapolis IN, Dominique Jackson, Renee (William) Johnson and Michelle (Ricky) Jefferies all of South Bend IN, Patti (Dennis) Brazil of Atlanta GA, and Selita Jackson of Louisville, KY, and many other family and friends especially those at the group home. He developed a special bond with his guardian Bill.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Annie Earl and Bonnie Morrison, grandparents Wright and Athel Murray, sister Louistein Belcher, cousin Albert Douglas, uncle and aunt Lucille and Manuel Jenning, niece Sonya Belcher.
Services will be held at Alfords Mortuary, 1222 Napier Street, South Bend, IN 46601 on Saturday August 13, 2022 at 12:00 p.m., and viewing will occur from 11:00 a.m. till noon. Arrangements have been entrusted with Alford’s Mortuary Inc. - South Bend.
