Sharon Evette Williams

Sharon Evette Williams was born on September 16, 1957, to Shelly Williams and Etta Mae Williams (Pettis) in Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated with honors from Oxford High School and went on to attend Northwestern Junior College and Alcorn State University, where she studied medicine. She also worked at Wisconsin Gas Company.

Although Sharon had many health problems from an early age, she chose to be a joyful, positive person to all she met.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, Kendall R. Williams; her sisters, Shiann (Anthony) Ivy and Benita Joyce Mathis; nieces, a nephew, cousins, and many dear friends. Sharon will be fondly remembered for her beautiful heart, generous spirit, and unparalleled kindness.
