Sheila Ann Muhammad was born October 22, 1963 to Willa Ivory and Fred Riley Sr in South Bend, IN. Sheila attended Grade School and High School in South Bend, Indiana. Sheila married Hakim Muhammad Sr. on September 7, 1985. She worked for many years in food service retiring from University of Notre Dame in 2021. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends.
Sheila was well-loved by the people who knew her because she was willing to help those who needed it. Sheila was working on her autobiography of her life.
Sheila is survived by her sisters Eydith(Willie) Menyard, Marcita (Roy) Patterson, her daughters Nicole (Marcus) Galloway, Hakim (Toni) Muhammad, Jameel Muhammad all of South Bend, Mumin Muhammad, Al-Nisa Robinson of New Jersey, special child Kesha Granderson. Grandchildren Khayree(Naomi) and Divine(Taylor) Johnson, Justice (Christopher) Campbell, Brooklyn, Amirah, Marshawn, Kimberly Muhammad, Malik and Marlin Hardrict. Great-grandchildren Amiya, Khayree Jr, Ezekiel, KaNiylah Johnson, Christopher Campbell. As well as nephews Eric (ChaKesha) Shurn, Tre"Mayne Grundy nieces Ericia Bell, Amber and Ashley Riley.
Sheila was preceded in death by her husband Hakim and her parents Fred Riley Sr and Willa Riley, also her brother Fred T. Riley Jr.
