Shila Ann Parker

Shila Ann Parker, 14, died unexpectedly on October 15th, 2020 at Memorial Hospital. Our Heavenly Father in His divine wisdom welcomed Shila into His loving arms.

She was a 9th-grade student at Career Academy. Shila loved to praise dance and sing in the Bethlehem House of Bread Youth Choir. She especially loved “hanging” with her Granny and going on the “Grandkids Outings”.

Shila leaves to cherish her memory Rashonda Gunn (Mother); David Parker (Father); Doneal Gregory (special father figure); two sisters: Alex and Dalia Parker; Maternal Grandparents, Loretta and Bishop Dennis R. Giden Sr. and Calvin Jones; Paternal Grandparent, Irene King; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Preceding her in death were Maternal Great Grandparents, Robert and Emma Gunn; and Paternal Great-Grandparent, Pastor George Jones.

Shila was such a joy to be around. She loved to worship God and spend time with her family. We will forever cherish her sweet memory. Rest in peace Sweet Princess. We will see you again.
