Terria D. Grove

Terria Dylaine Grove, 48, of South Bend, Indiana, affectionately known as "Poochie" by family and “T” by friends. Terria was born on April 8, 1972, to the union of Josephine (Stevens) Grove and Tommie Lee Grove Jr. in South Bend, Indiana.

She graduated in 1990 from Washington High School where she attended Ivy Tech Community College. She was employed by Honeywell for 10years until her health began to fail. Terria was known for her beautiful smile, those dimples, and vibrant laughter. She loved Old School music, especially the Blues, R&B; and enjoyed socializing with family and friends. Some of her hobbies were barbequing and working in her yard. She could manicure a yard so that one would think it was done by a professional. No doubt about it, Terria was definitely a daddy’s girl. A hard worker, strong will, and determination that was instilled in her by her parents, especially her mother, Josephine. But, once that determination set in, Uh-oh! Look out! You were in for a battle no matter what the situation was.

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Essance T’area Ward of South Bend, Indiana, Zoe Curry whom she considered as a daughter of Elkhart, Indiana; four sisters: Tyree Grove, Rita Grove, Michelle Grove, and Kitty Grove all of South Bend, Indiana; seven brothers: Craig M. (Donna) Stevens, Tony L. Grove, Joe Grove, Eddie Grove, and Bubba Wade Grove all of South Bend Indiana, Bobby (Shalonda) McKinstry-Grove, and David Grove of Eutaw, Alabama; godparents: Mary and Albert Powell of South Bend Indiana.

Proceeding her in death are her parents, Josephine (Stevens) and Tommie L. Jr.; a brother, Micheal Grove; maternal grandparents, Macy and Woodrow Stevens; paternal grandparents: Tommie L. Sr. and Clara Grove.
