Thelma Ree Crumbley

Thelma Ree Crumbley of South Bend made her transition to glory on Saturday June 25, 2022 at her residence surrounded by loved ones. 
 

Thelma was born September 1,1931 in Lake Village AR to Harry & Honey (Harrison) Griffo who both preceded her in death. She was united in holy matrimony to Willie Crumbley on August 16, 1950 who preceded her in death in 2001. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Margaret, Gladys, Elzonia and Bessie. She worked ten years for Saint Mary’s College.
 

Thelma leaves to cherish three daughters Debra (Lavinis) Clemons, Synovia Crumbley and June Newsome, four sons Willie Crumbley Jr, Bruce (Mattie) Crumbley, Tyrone Crumbley and Alvertis Crumbley all of South Bend IN, 21 grandchildren Contessa, Christian, Terrance, Denottus, Erica, Tanesha, Bruce, Breon, Bianca, Sheila, Brooke, Tatisha, Rashena, Keshia, Alesha, Danyeal, Ty’renia, Brandy, Donnie, Cordett and Junesha, 34 great grandchildren along with a host great-great grandchildren.

Services for Mother Crumbley will be held on Friday July 8, 2022 at 11 A.M at the Redemption City Church, 1836 Portage Ave., South Bend, Indiana, 46616. Visitation will be held an hour prior at 10 A.M. Arrangements have been entrusted with Alford's Mortuary Inc. - South Bend.
