Theresa Brown was born July 18, 1959 to Thomas Odell Brown Sr & Queenie Mae Brown who both preceded her in death. To this union 11 children were born, Theresa being the eighth child. Theresa will be greeted in heaven by her sisters & brothers Florisitine, Laura, Dorothy, Floyd, Clinton, Thomas and Robert.
Theresa was baptized at an early age. She became a member of Lily of the Valley M.B Church. She attended Hefferan Elementary and Austin High School in Chicago IL. Theresa had her oldest daughter Theresa Jackson. A few years later Theresa had her oldest sonBernard Pinkerton, Shaquille Pinkerton and Danzell Pinkerton.
Theresa enjoyed cooking and listening to some old school blues and jazz. She loved to have a good time and good food with family & friends. As we all know Theresa was the life of the party and she loved to dance. Theresa was a beautiful, phenomeal, strong woman. Most of all she was a loving strong and supportive mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. Theresa helped a lot of people whether it was family, friends or even a stranger.
Theresa leaves to cherish her memory her sisters Brenda, Carol and Debra, her children Theresa, Bernard, Shaquille and Danzell, her grandchildren Wadell, Watierra, Azariah, Lil Shaquille, Royality, A’myah, Alani and Lil Bernard, her great grandchildren Karizion, Kyrizc, Wynter along with a host of nieces, cousins, nephews, family and friends.
Services will be held on Thursday June 2, 2022, 12 Noon in the chapel of Alford’s Mortuary, 1222 Napier Street, South Bend, IN 46601. Visitation will be held at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 23449 Edison Road, South Bend, IN 46628.
