Tommie Lee Smith Jr., A loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, & devoted partner, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2023 in Ohio.
Born in Oma, Mississippi, on October 9, 1966 to Tommie Smith and Queenie Smith. Tom was a man of many talents and interests who touched the lives of everyone around him. Tom enjoyed watching basketball & football, working on cars, being a comedian, always the life of the party, and most importantly being around his family. Nicknames Tom was known for were Chronic, Bug, and Button. Throughout his life, he was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones.

Tommie Lee Smith Jr, departed this life on May 21, 2023. His warm and caring nature made him a beloved figure in his community, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

He leaves to mourn his passing: Carolina Balboa, one daughter LaVonda Smith, four sons Maceo Smith, Martel Smith, Marquise Balboa, Marreon Balboa, three grandchildren Lamiaja Smith, Phoenix Smith, Kassen King, five sisters Lulla P Jackson, Sheila Goss, Nechole Smith, Christy Smith, Roselyn Smith, two brothers Anthony Smith, Michael Smith, an a host of loving relatives, family, and friends. Tom is preceeded in death by his mother Queenie Smith, father Tommie Smith, and niece De'Ashay Thompson. " Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, and very dear to our heart".
