Tyron Gerome Lynn Reid

Tyrone Reid 64, a beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend of South Bend, IN passed away on Thursday August 3rd, 2023. 

On May 26th, 1959, Tyrone was born in South Bend, IN to Harry Reid Sr., and Adelle Frye Teague. Tyrone and his siblings were raised in Michigan City, IN where he educated through Michigan City Area Schools. Later in life Tyrone moved to Indianapolis, IN and resided there until his death. Tyrone loved to make people laugh with his jokes. He also loved to cook. 

Survivors left to cherish his memory includes one daughter Tasha Allen Haddox of Paducah, KY. Four sons Tyrone Watson of South Bend, IN, Tyshawn Reid of St. Louis, MO, Tyrone and Terrell Reid of Milwaukee, WI. 15 grandchildren and a host of great children. Nine sisters Anita (Robert) Paige of Chaparral, NM, Denise Hardin of Indianapolis, IN, Vickie Reid of Newburgh, IN, Julie (Glenn) of Ann Arbor, MI, Kyndra Reid of South Bend, IN, Marsha Frye- Daniels, Darice Madkins of California, Paula Gooch of Milwaukee, WI, and Bridgette Wood of Michigan City, IN. Six brothers Terrance and Robert Frye of Michigan City, IN Thomas (Ella) Frye of Portland, OR, Timothy Frye of St. Paul, MN Steven (Ashuntas) Frye and Brian Frye Reid of Douglasville, GA, along with a host of relatives and friends.

Tyrone was preceded in death by his parents Harry Reid Sr, and Adelle Frye Teague. Two sisters Francine Long and Roberta Frye.  Three brothers; Rodney Frye, Erskine Reid Sr., Harry Reid, and a host of relatives and friends.
