Vanessa was 42 years old and affectionately known to her family and friends as Fufee. Born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in South Bend, Indiana where she attended public schools. Vanessa was always a hard worker. She received her carpenter license and started working to create her own business. She established Moorer Muscle Construction, LLC this year and had planned on conducting entrepreneurial construction-type work. She was also a self-taught tattoo artist.
Devoted to her family, Fufee sought and succeeded in making us proud of her. She was the life of all gatherings; there was not a dull moment when she was around. Vanessa’s smile lit up just about every room she entered. A sports enthusiast, Vanessa loved basketball and playing video games.
