Vivian Stewart

Our dear mother Vivian Stewart sadly passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 73. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in South Bend, IN. Vivian life began in Humboldt, TN; the family moved to South Bend, IN at a young age. Vivian was a beautician for many years in her community. And then worked at St. Mary's College as building services supervisor until her retirement in Jan. 2020. Vivian leaves to cherish her memories by her 3 daughters: Angela Clay. Felissa Bowers, and Rena Stewart all of South Bend, IN. Six grandchildren Dellvona (Randy), Dellshana (Terrence), Ebony, Angel, Chekir, Shavona. Four great grandchildren: Shaniya, Alana, Heaven, Serenity. Three Brothers: Nathaniel (Linda) Waddell, Terry (Marlene) Waddell, Jerome (Donna) Waddell. Aunt Chaplain Dr. Ruby Fair-Miller, Cousin/sister Roberta Jones. Preceded in Death by her father Nathaniel Waddell, Mother Louella Erby, Sister Cora Lee Robinson, and Son Donald Clay Jr. Special Acknowledgements The family would like to express their deepest thanks to, Heart to Heart Hospice, and MHO Dr. B. Ansari for all their care with our mother.

Services for Mrs. Stewart will be held on Saturday April 15, 2023 at 11 A.M in the Chapel of Alford's Mortuary, 1222 Napier Street, South Bend, Indiana 46601. Friends may visit with the family an hour prior. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted with Alford's Mortuary Inc.
