Willie G. Fields Jr., 64, of Sancome Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, passed away August 3, 2020. Willie was born November 12, 1955, in Shelby, Mississippi, to Willie Sr. and Clara (Montgomery) Fields Sr.
Willie enjoyed cooking, dancing, music, and giving to the homeless.
Survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife, Candy Fields, Warsaw, Indiana; his children: Paul Robinson and Mark Robinson both of Shelby, Mississippi, Matthew Robinson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and John Michael Fields of Memphis, Tennessee; 17 grandchildren; four sisters: Barbara McClure of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Patricia (Jimmie) Davis of Memphis, Tennessee, Tommie Smith of South Bend, Indiana, and Tracy (James) Cropper of Indianapolis, Indiana; three brothers: James Fields of Gunnison, Mississippi, George Fields of Clarksdale, Mississippi, and Danny Fields of Wichita, Kansas; three stepsisters: Lou Ellen Bowman of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dorothy Coleman of South Bend, Indiana, and Cindy Ratliff of Crown Point, Indiana; his devoted friend, Angela Fry of South Bend, Indiana; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.
