Willie Menyard Jr.

Willie Menyard Jr., 56,  born September 28, 1964, in South Bend, Indiana to Willie Menyard and Barbara Anderson, passed away February 26, 2021.

Willie was raised on Kentucky Street “K-block” and graduated in 1962 from Washington High School. His passions were music, dancing, washing his cars, and cutting grass. 

Willie was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Anthony Menyard; paternal grandmother, Mattie Hairston; paternal grandfather, Dewitt Menyard; maternal grandmother, Tillie Anderson; maternal grandfather, James Anderson better known as ”Big Boy”; his uncles: Dewitt Menyard and Maurice Miller Sr.; his aunts: Fannie Miller and Marry Perry; and a cousin Kerry Perry. 

Willie leaves to mourn his wife Priscilla Thomas, father Willie Menyard, mother, Barbara Ann Dupriest, daughters Lisa Menyard and Shenita Menyard, his sons Willie Thomas and Julius Henderson, sisters Michelle Menyard and Krista Menyard, a brother Orlando Menyard, 20 grandchildren Dalisa Thomas, Jake Waddell, Carhia Washington, I’anna Washington, Bray’Drion Menyard, Meliah Henderson, Tyre Henderson, Julius Henderson Jr, Darion Thornton, LaRon Menyard better known as “Muncy Man”, Quantell Verse Jr, Quantera Verse, Amariya Thomas, Rama Seward, Ja’Riya Menyard, Sonia Thomas, Terion Thomas, Wy’leigha Thomas, Willie Thomas Jr and Teyon Thomas, nephews Antonio Wells,Lawrence Shorter and Aldonis Ester Jr, nieces Candace Menyard, Tiffany Menyard and Tonica Johnson, daughter in law Brittany Williams, an aunt Minnie Hairston, cousins Sam Perry, Linda Kirkebdoll, Marcellus Miller, Randell Owens and Tricia Willis, close friends Cornell Thomas, Marrise Northern better known as “Pee-Wee” and Walter Neal.
